Slu Medical Scholars Program Acceptance Rate

The Slu Medical Scholars Program offers a highly competitive and merit-based financial aid package. The annual cost to attend Slu is $50,000 per year. The Slu Medical Scholars Program covers 100% of tuition and fees for students who qualify for the program.

Medical Scholars receive a comprehensive, four-year financial aid package that includes full tuition support, a $5,000 stipend per year for living expenses, and health insurance coverage.

Slu Medical Scholars Program Acceptance Rate

The Slu Medical Scholars Program is an undergraduate scholarship program at the St. Louis University School of Medicine that provides students with a full-tuition scholarship, paid summer research stipend, comprehensive health insurance and $2,000 for books. Students must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents to apply.

Students must also have a minimum GPA of 3.75 or higher and submit SAT or ACT scores in order to qualify for this award. Applicants must also complete the application process by March 1st each year; however, applicants can submit applications throughout the year until all spots are filled up.

The School of Medicine also offers other scholarships such as the Loyola Scholarship Program which awards up to $10,000 per year and requires students to complete an application and attend an interview process before being accepted into this program; as well as the SLU Voices for Health Award which awards $1,500 per year to students who are actively involved in community service

The Slu Medical Scholars Program is a four-year undergraduate program that provides an opportunity for students to pursue their education with the support of a merit-based scholarship.

While the acceptance rate for this medical school program is not listed in the AAMC’s Medical School Admission Requirements (MSAR), it can be estimated based on the percentage of applicants who received offers of admission from SLU’s School of Medicine. In 2018, 61 percent of applicants were offered admission into the program. As such, students can expect an acceptance rate of about 38 percent.
