These professionals are responsible for making sure that the company’s marketing strategy is implemented successfully, maintaining its brand and reputation, overseeing its marketing budget, and more.
You can apply to become a marketing manager/director by earning a bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field like communications or marketing. Some employers may require you to hold an MBA from an accredited university as well. After you complete your degree program, you may choose to pursue certification from professional organizations such as the American Marketing Association (AMA) or the Institute of Certified Management Consultants (ICMC).
