University of Alabama School of Medicine
University of Alabama School of Medicine is a public medical school located in Birmingham, Alabama. It is one of the four medical schools in the University of Alabama System. The school was founded in Birmingham in 1859 under the name of The Medical College of Alabama. It is the oldest medical school in the state of Alabama and one of only two universities (along with Jefferson Davis Community College) that offer medicine as their sole health professions program.
The University’s main campus is located on Highland Avenue near downtown Birmingham and houses all levels: undergraduate through graduate programs; post-graduate residencies; and research facilities for cancer, neurology, psychiatry, pediatrics and other areas.
University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson
The University of Arizona College of Medicine-Tucson is a public medical school located in Tucson, Arizona, United States. It is one of the three medical schools of the University of Arizona. The college was established in 2005, and it is the newest of the three medical schools in the University of Arizona system.
The college admits approximately 100 students per year to its MD program through AMCAS. The average GPA for its incoming class has ranged between 3.6 to 3.8; however, each year varies slightly depending upon applicant numbers and academic credentials (such as MCAT scores). Additionally, an increasing number of applicants from underrepresented minority groups have been accepted into this program over time.[1]

The University of California, Davis (UCD) is a public research university located in Davis, California. It is one of 10 general campuses among the University of California system and is considered to be a “Public Ivy.” The institution was established as a branch unit for the College of Agriculture and Mechanic Arts (which later became UC Davis). The enabling legislation for both the college and new campus was authored by Governor John Bigler. Classes began on July 16, 1908 with an enrollment of 50 students who were all taught by faculty members at Oakland Junior College in biology. All classes took place in only two large rooms totaling less than 300 square feet; these were known as North Hall and South Hall respectively. Enrollment increased steadily during this period which culminated with the opening of Pothier Hall in 1911; this provided additional space for teaching purposes along with housing accommodations for students who wanted them on campus instead of living at home with parents or relatives nearby

The University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) School of Medicine is one of the top medical schools in the nation. It is located in San Francisco, California and was founded in 1864 as a medical program for women. It became coeducational in 1903 and then again in 1970 when it admitted male students as well. In 2007, it was awarded $1 million by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to develop a curriculum designed specifically to address health disparities among minority groups. In addition to its top-ranked status by U.S News & World Report (8th best), it also has been ranked 4th best on their list of primary care programs and 2nd best on their list of research programs (both overall).

The university is located in Orlando, Florida, and was established as part of the State University System of Florida. UCF’s MD program includes four specialty tracks: internal medicine/family practice; pediatrics; psychiatry/psychology; and obstetrics/gynecology (OBGYN).

The Ohio State University WEXNER MEDICAL CENTER is focused on the education and research of medicine. They offer programs for students to become doctors, nurses, pharmacists and dental hygienists among other health professionals. Their curriculum includes basic sciences as well as clinical training opportunities for students so that they can practice their skills with patient care. The school also offers a variety of pre-clinical programs including pre-medicine which involves preparing yourself for medical school entrance tests such as MCAT or DAT (Dental Admissions Test).
